.JPG) Welcome
As 2010 approaches, we’ve doubled our efforts to ensure that everyone involved with the tourism value chain is equipped with the knowledge and skills to make our African neighbours feel welcome.
Our Welcome border campaign is being intensified as we urge border officials to be good hosts by demonstrating warmth, friendliness and helpfulness to all
SADC visitors.
The World Cup belongs to the continent. We need to involve our neighbours in promoting the tournament, and in delivering a truly
African World Cup to the rest of the world.
Nelson Mandela once said ‘If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head.
If you talk to him in his language that goes to his heart’. Let’s speak from the heart as we all strive
to be more welcoming.
